Toei Animation has established ETERNA Animation, a new brand for original works, aiming for international expansion as it approaches its 70th anniversary in 2026. ETERNA Animation's first project is a short film, "Kitsunetsuki," directed by Cho Shinozuka, exploring themes of loneliness and self-confrontation. Pre-production will be showcased at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2025.
