Netflix and TRIGGER studio have announced "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2", a sequel to the acclaimed animation "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners". The new series will have 10 episodes and will be set in the "Cyberpunk 2077" universe. Igarashi Kai will direct, with a script by Otsuka and Bartosz Sztybor. The announcement was made at Anime Expo 2025, with Sztybor and original director Hiroyuki Imaishi in attendance.
